Расчет нестационарного течения в длинных безнапорных трубопроводах сетей водоснабжения

St. Venant equations were used to calculate response time parameters of water distribution system, containing parts with gravity flow, which change the performance of pumping stations. It is shown that this time can, in some cases up to 10–20 minutes, which should be taken into account in the development of algorithms for automatic control of pumps.
